We had a little time between Georgia and Maine, so we decided to spend a week in the D.C. area.
We found a "small" RV park in Maryland to stay for the week. It's not one I would recommend as a place to stay, not even overnight. In case you're looking to check out the area this is one to avoid: Evergreen Point Village in Frederick, Maryland.

How long do I have
to wait here?

The Washington Union Station is lovely. It is a major train station, transportation hub. The station opened in 1907 and is Amtrak's Headquarters as well as the railroad's second-busiest station. There are loads of food places and lots of shopping. I wouldn't even begin to guess how many people pass through the station on a daily basis, but annually close to five-million ride the train.

We made two trips into D.C. The first day we did a lot a walking, but, the second time we did the on and off bus ride.

We hope you enjoy our photos!

The parks are beautiful and a great place for
relaxing and enjoying lunch.
Washington D.C. is an excellent place to visit. As with any area, with it's vast history and museums, it's a place you could visit numerous times.
